Sound baths · Live instruments · Indoor studio
Some things the mind cannot reason its way into, and rest is one of them. Come lie down and let sound carry you.
What it is
In our studio in Midigama, Ahangama, a sound bath is a slow immersion in tone and vibration. You arrive, you settle, and over the next hour the room fills with sound that moves through the body as much as the ear.
There is nothing to get right. You simply receive, letting the vibration guide you into deep relaxation and stillness.

Every instrument in our space has been chosen by hand and carried home from around the world, artisanal, crafted pieces, each selected for the particular quality of healing it carries in its tone.
Gongs, handpans, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, wind chimes and shamanic instruments. Every sound you hear is played live, in the room, for the people in it that day. The sound is alive, and it answers the room.

Our sessions take place in a temperature-controlled indoor studio built for stillness. No traffic, no heat, no bugs, no interruption.
A clean, quiet space where the only thing asking for your attention is the sound itself.

“Some places don't just host you, they hold you. Senses Sri Lanka did exactly that from the very first moment. As a Sri Lankan, stepping into this space felt like coming home in the most unexpected way. The fact that they offer discounts and donation-based options for locals means this kind of healing is genuinely accessible to us too, not just for visitors passing through.”
“I attended lots of classes and ecstatic dance at Senses while I stayed in Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful venue in the middle of nature, and the instructors and facilitation are wonderful. I am also a facilitator and yoga teacher, so I am particular about teachers and spaces, but was really impressed with what is offered at Senses. And the owners are lovely and very welcoming! Highly recommend.”
“A truly intentional sanctuary tucked away in the jungle. The shala at Senses is one of the most tranquil spaces I've experienced, perfect for deepening your wellness practice. It's rare to find a spot that balances professional wellness offerings with such raw, natural serenity. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a genuine reset.”

Sound baths run weekly. Reserve your mat before they sell out.
