We bring together local and international artists for a crowd that is just as mixed. Sri Lankans and travellers from around the world gather in one place, and that is what makes Soul Lanka a global event, rooted in Sri Lankan tradition.
Across the weekend you will experience workshops and performances rooted in Sri Lanka's heritage, held alongside music, movement and ceremony from further afield.

Soul Lanka is the longest running conscious festival of its kind in Sri Lanka.
Once a year our community gathers on the south coast.
The heart of it is one weekend, 27 and 28 February at the Secret Pearl in Weligama. But the gathering does not begin or end there. For the entire month around the festival, partner venues carry the wave.
Show up for the weekend and dive deep. Stay the month and travel between sessions, meeting the same faces in different places. That is where Soul Lanka really lives.

Tickets
Our gathering is intentionally intimate, capped at 400 people, and previous editions sold out. Festival weekend tickets are available now. Tickets for the preglow, afterglow and partner events open in December.
Weekend tickets are 20,000 LKR at phase one pricing. Early booking is advised, prices rise in later phases.
Dates and hours
Saturday 27 February: 9:00 to 18:00, with an afterparty at Secret Pearl afterwards.
Sunday 28 February: 9:00 to 1:00 AM.
Where to stay
You can stay right at Secret Pearl if you wish. Beds start at 2,500 LKR.
On Saturday the afterparty carries on at Secret Pearl with music until 1 AM, so staying here is lovely if you wish to dance a little longer.

Giving back
This year we support How We Grow Foundation
10% of the festival profit goes to How We Grow Foundation, a Sri Lankan organisation focused on creating healthier, more connected and empowered communities through education, wellbeing and shared experiences.
They work alongside local communities to support initiatives that nurture health, education, connection and celebration, from supporting preschools and midwife centres, to providing yoga teacher training opportunities for Sri Lankans and creating community wellbeing programmes.
They also work with the Selyn Foundation on menstrual health education, including workshops and access to reusable period wear, helping women and girls feel more informed, confident and supported.
Their work is rooted in the vision that meaningful change grows through connection, empowerment and community, creating opportunities for people to learn, share, celebrate and grow together.
